The trim dat goes over d wipers it comes in two parts
Two folding side mirrors
AC blower card
Cable pull to open the bonnet
An the strip that goes over the two right side doors from front to back

the irony is these high fines may increase other crimes.. most people don't have an extra 15 or 22k lying around.. A good wire pick should remove it easily but if it goes down it can cause more harm than good.

Let a mechanic (if you can't handle the job) take off the rocker cover and clean whatever you can see, I don't see another proper method of removing that from the head. Do it asap so the oil ports won't clog up.
