Re: Study finds Trinis spend avg one month each year in traffic

This is a brainfart without any actual thought, but what about the concept of "hubs" firetruck POS as the heart of it all. Create a government service hub in the east, ensuring it's completely accessible via public transport. Financial / legal hubs elsewhere, same logic. Technology/servic...

Re: LF New Front shocks for 2012 Swift ZC72S

Hey, get the chassis number for your swift and enter it into the search box on the website Partsouq.com

There should be new KYB front shocks available for 77 USD per side. Takes about a week to ship to your door. It might cost you 2k in total after shipping and duties for the pair.

I eh seeing the number plate on that lancer, but I remember having a PAK series in that colour musbe 15 yrs ago. The seatbelt buckle mount had rusted through and had to be welded back in place.

Thought it was a bit too sketchy and sold it soon after.

To me, they were wrong to plan for a rapid rail. Woulda just be a big shiny waste of money. Unless they had some concurrent plan to encourage more high density living arrangements (to support the rapid rail).

yes, but don't expect that to be done during this project. It's definitely a long term plan. close the bus route to all vehicles and use it as a cycling lane.... Re: Gov't lost $350m from tax waivers on hybrid vehicles

I don't see the issue anyway since I would think the reason for encouraging a hybrid vehicle is to reduce our carbon footprint, an engine size > 1599cc would be counter productive IMHO. Yeah, now that I think about it, limiting the hybrid waiver to engines under 1600cc actually makes sense from an ...

Only reason it's selling so low is because the used car market is flooded. Kia and hyundai don't demand high resale values. With a potential rise in the price of gas again after election this would be a great deal for a daily driver Also suspect that any hybrid tax breaks going byebye to promote CN...

@Dizzy28 : Yes, for long distances, cycling is impractical if a shower is not available. That is unless you have an ebike, which augments your pedalling and leaves you as sweaty as you would have been if you took a long walk. If the cycling community was made up of beetham residents then expect the status quo to remain or the complete ban of this activity on the nations roads. Re: Now I know why 50Km/h seems slow.

The limit on main roads should be 65-70km/h they just left it @ the 50km/h to harass motorists. I don't think it is purely to harass motorists. The speed limit has to be lower in densely populated areas. Would you prefer to have to cross a road with a speed limit of 70km/h? Or would it be easier/sa...
