To access your demerits they only need your Permit Number and Date of Birth which they would have both of. So yeah, from introduction of the points system they will.

Re: 25 cops transferred for refusing polygraph tests

While I wholeheartedly agree with shaking things up to try and root out the corruption in the ttps, this shouldn't be reason for dismissal. These tests are not accurate and may say someone is lying when they are not. So if they don't want to take the test then I could accept that, but transferring t...

Re: Re: BAyshore is a NO THOROUGHFARE.

The only thing the gate does is restrict the road to being no thoroughfare (as said in the title of this thread). Anyone can drive freely into the area. The use as a shortcut when there is traffic into Chaguaramas was tolerated for many years until it got so bad they blocked the western most entranc...

Don't know why more companies haven't jumped to bring the diesel versions of their small vehicles. Maybe if we start importing ulsd that would change.

Re: Gas not lasting as long since fuel raised?

No one in this thread seems to know what kind of mileage they actually get. Exactly. If they think it's burning faster they need to record distance travelled between fill ups and how many litres to fill up. I have been doing rough checks since I got my vehicle and I have been consistently averaging...

Re: License Officers and Truckers today

Fine should be much more. This practice destroys the roads. Only problem for the truck drivers is they don't know they're overloaded. Should have a scale at the exit of each quarry for them to check before going out on the road. Til they get that just load less in the truck.

Re: CNG tank explodes in school bus

I watched a video from ansa where they said the range on cng is 200-250km. That's really not so bad. It uses gasoline til the vehicle warms up then you can switch over. For people with short commutes with a filling station on the route it really wouldn't be so bad. Honda city. Toyota imitation van. ...

If gasoline hits $10/l it will become very attractive. Unfortunately not many manufacturers have it available from the factory and the cng tanks take up too much space in a normal car trunk.

I wonder how much per square foot the Kaydonna compound was purchased for - vacant land with a small unoccupied building on it. Is that figure the same as what was offered to the residents on the other side of the road?

Interested to know the breakdown of salaries at Petrotrin.
