Re: Mechman alternators !! please read

i am a proud owner of a mechman alternator, right now i am using a 370 amp unit (daily drive). i previously had a 270 amp with a external voltage adjuster. i also had a 400 amp unit installed for a couple of months. i use my car a couple times for the week (no long distances) and to go shows during ...

Re: Amp ohm question

yes it can work, once the amp can take 2 ohm load per channel (most do). however u will have to run everything in stereo (ie. 1 channel to 1 speaker both front and rear). do not bridge the amp!!!

Re: Incriminator 40.1, DD M4a, etc.

i wud have to say the dd m4a. these amps are very strong and of high quality. used from the m2b straight up to m4a, s2b, ss4a, c5c, and the list goes on. lol was also able to safely run the m3a and m4a at 0.5 ohms daily play (with a voltage of over 13v minimum) and use of input terminals ;) thanks t...

kurpal_v2 wrote:Why you leaned toward the fital more?

size and weight was key for this install . the faital pro can be crossed at 900 hz with a 12db slope (as recommended by the manufacturer). vs the 1.2k hertz (as recommended by radian.)
otherwise these 2 factors i will place the 2 drivers on the same level.

faital pro hf20at is the best driver i have ever used. and i used all other 2" high end drivers out dere. You ever used the radian 850pb? I personally find those to have better highs reproduction, smoother sounding up top IMO. i have heard all of the radian drivers n the faital pro is very sim...

i have used both of the amps listed above. none of which can play 4 10's properly. maybe 4 8" bt not 4 10's. just look at the fuse rating- 120 amps on the hifonics and 200 amps for the lanzar. look in the the us amps and the old skool ppi's these amps have been tried and tested to work for this...
