Guess it doesn't always lose it that easily then. However I programmed them myself previously for more than one cvt but can't rem the sequence anymore. Got it from official honda tech back then.

Honda cvt transmissions also have a program sequence that needs to be done for the transmission to work properly. If you ever removed the battery power, it will lose the program. Does the engine ping or anything under load? Did u adjust the distributor timing and see if you get more power low down? Does regular tune ups include original honda transmission fluid? <<works best in my experience
