Rovin highlighted some good points, Ill drop in my 2cents. Most of the guys I know who are into sq are the same guys from the past 15 years. It`s very hard to get new people interested because of the culture of car audio and the culture of the music that most people listen to. I`m forever getting th...
+1 for ordering off their site and receiving a brand new phone. Ordered a xiaomi mi10 lite (may 2020) model. Don`t know how his prices are that good but no complaints here.
Nobody can hear this low. if your hearing is perfect you may hear 20ish. Sub 20hz is felt, if you are convinced you're hearing something it may be harmonics from the signal or induced by the electronics. I mean under 10 is still clear and not muddy. The lowest I can certainly hear is 4Hz. At 3 nah. ...
I use a db drive edsp31 which is most similar to the Dayton, in a home audio setup, that unit is less than 2k. I think for 95 percent of users, units like that and the Dayton etc is more than enough. if you really think you need more than sub, low, mid and high, with a good eq, you need to look at d...
Got two orders in today. A watch and some auto accessories. Both orders from different sellers were placed on 08/05/19. Tracking was superb and goods came in before delivery estimate. Orders were shipped to skybox in Miami.
Check diysoundgroup.com they have pretty decent kits, Parts express has some also, there`s a cheapish one called the c note. An amplifier board that that does at least 25x2 and runs off an old laptop power supply can be had for like 20 US.
I did this "patch" approach in a cousin`s car. Door flex was noticeably reduced and midbasses seemed more pronounced in the lower end but I wouldn't say it was a hugeee difference. The panel itself is now heavier and allows less energy to escape. For me, sealing the inner door metal had th...
I did the same decat and didn't get any issues. I have had those 02 sensors eventually go bad and from what I read, they usually fail in a lean condition. You would see a check engine light if they were drastically off. Have you ever cleaned your mass airflow sensor? usually your fuel trims are cont...
OP how big are your tweets exactly and what kinda modification are you willing to do with it? You and I have the same car and I managed to fit a 3 inch mid and tweet without it being too obtrusive. Before that, it was a morel supremo piccolo tweet in each pillar and those are quite chunky. https://i...
I modeled one of those weekend in winisd. The graph looks terrible in their recommended vented spec, there was a huge peak in the mid50hz region and a steep drop off after. The qts is the highest ive ever seen in a sub and based on the parameters the motorforce looks kinda weak.
That is not how an amplifier gain works. It is an input level matching system, if you level match properly with 5vrms or 9.5v rms you would not get a difference
There is a flat service charge of 20ish ttd iirc but there`s no Online purchase tax and no fuel surcharge. $17 ttd for the first pound and 15ttd per pound thereafter. Not sure if they went up after my last order, can`t find my invoice.
Ok I bought the inuke dsp 1000 and quite pleased , it’s powering the sub well but now the surround is torn, not due to play but time. I put a massive gtx10 in enclosure running one channel of the amp and its sounds good. I will get the sub repaired Awesome Pablo. I have a Crown xls 1000 on my HT su...
Pablo, are you going to buy that ep4000 or do you already have it? If you don't already own it, I suggest the inuke dsp series instead. Should be cheaper and pull less current and the smallest model does around 750 rms bridged.
multiple subs decrease anomalies of room modes. though sub bass wavelengths makes one sub easily fill a room, theres always an audible sweet spot. Having more than one sub decreases that likelihood. I agree totally with xfactor, diy will be cheaper and yield better results for the dollar. Even the a...
Anyone missing a Blu Ray player from their setup? I got a PS4 so Im selling mine. Its an LGBD630 plays Blu ray, dvd, and has a youtube and Netflix apps and also a usb port to play stuff off flashdrives.
See if you can salvage them from a car audio passive. Alternatively, I have seen PA passives with dual 12db networks selling in some electronics places for about 150ish. You can get an LCR meter and unwind to suit.
