Det has oil squirter, forged rods, lower compression rising rate fuel regulator bigger injectors and a few other things the de doesnT.
Outside the two engines look pretty much the same but that's where it ends.

all the neo does is adjust AFR's any tuner will tell u the key to it is ignition timing.. get a piggy back like the haltech intercepter that controls timing as well and u cookin wwit gas..

forget supercharger, the best turbo for u hands down is a IHI unit from a subaru they are ball bearing so will be getting nice response. and cheap check any subie man i b bamboo (gobin, navin.) and u could get the VHF4-3 for around $300. well ran water lines to my turbo the other day.... spent the whole day in hot sun and traffic and my cooling system seems to be taking the extra load really well....

thanks guys ..... i was looking at the radiator hose tapping option^... but i took the lines running from the throttle body and used those instead i figured out that hot water runs through them all the time even after the engine is warmed :shock:

water injection is by far the most effective way for reducing detonation....very very effective .....there are alot of sites with DIY info as well as ppl selling kits.....for a turbo application u will introduce the water (or water/ meth) after the turbo under pressure so it will atomize in the airf...
