Battery life on my 2 year old iPhone XR has taken a hit (battery health is at 86%). Want to hold off til the 2021 iPhones are out before replacing. If we were using forex to buy feed stock for the refinery and the product was selling at a loss, how is that generating forex? We are producing approximately 40,000 barrels of oil a day and the refinery operates at a capacity of 140,000 barrels a day, so we have to go to the market to buy about 100...

64G memory . Most of that might just be taken up by system memory . Prices could be better

iOS 14 might take up 8-9 gigs on that phone. Plenty of space remaining.

Apple M1 benchmarks are insane for what is essentially entry level Apple laptops. Hardly makes any sense to purchase intel based MacBooks unless it’s for a niche program that’s unsupported on Apple silicon.

Re: The | Apple Inc.  | Thread - iPhone 12 launch

I'm excited to see how these A14s perform in popular desktop apps. I'm sure Apple did heavily consider going with new AMD CPUs, which would have been great too. But let's see how their ARM A14s perform. I suspect even the AMD route is a dead end given the progress of ARM performance compared to x86...

Our worst enemy with all these going-ons is time. The refinery just keeps on ageing and timelines for cost effective and efficient recommissioning may soon start to enter the realm of non- viability to investors. Re: Petrotrin refinery shut down

As stated earlier. The restructuring aimed at improving oil extraction. Reducing the need for importing oil for the refinery. So the recent demand for the refinery is driven by the fact that less oil needs to be imported. With lower production costs (it is fair to assume that locally produced crude...
