Re: ***The Official 2020 Formula 1 season thread***

Agree fully that lec should have had a penalty. Lance was on the curb with nowhere to go, lec simply understeered into him. BLM support is dying a slow death in f1. Less coverage and interest. Daniel's response to his penalty makes ham look really bad. On another note..carlos' shunt has to be the du...

Re: Building a house in Trinidad

I used SW loxon xp on the house and trying ppg sealer and primer at the moment on the perimeter wall.
Can't go wrong with SW but the price is ridiculous.
Will give feedback on the ppg when finished

Re: Building a house in Trinidad

I did all of my pours with central concrete...was very happy with their service. The last went into 11pm in the night and required more concrete than I originally paid for - they continued and called another truck with no fuss whatsoever. Would highly recommend them.

I still think the supra is hideous

This on the other hand I love..clean simple lines..tonnes of customization possibilities..like being given a Z with a blank slate

Re: ***The Official 2020 Formula 1 season thread***

I think gasly wouldve walked the floor with him.
Perez barely matched Ocon as a rookie, and Lance has gone toe to toe with him this year despite being well regarded as the most undeserving driver on the grid.

Re: ***The Official 2020 Formula 1 season thread***

Perez to Haas makes the most sense. Geographically, it benefits his sponsors and Gene's company expansion. Alfa usually stick to Ferrari academy, RBR/AT usually keep with their own and let's be real, Kvyat is just keeping a seat warm for Tsunoda. Can't see Gasly going back to RBR after last year - m...

Re: Building a house in Trinidad

Any suggestions for covering a drain...about 11" wide and varying depths (1" - 3")? You may want to look at drain grating. It is available in steel and plastic. Plastic will not be suitable for a driveway if the drain is more than about 4" wide. Otherwise, either option will all...

Re: The *Official* Trinidad Spotters Thread!

Nice looking vehicle yes but some of those are roro and some have 1.5 engines and not the 2.0 we think. Also the 4 pipes is a turn off, owner should have left the OEM dual tips. I noticed that (exhaust) and was wondering if it were a different model. Also, wonder how the balance differs between the...

Thanks very much for the advice folks. Will try the vulkem or dymonic this week. Its 1/2" for the most, but most parts are 1/4" or so.

Any suggestions for pool construction?

Re: Building a house in Trinidad

If it was cast separately and most likely then is a hard luck there as concrete don’t join so any soil movement below will have shifts opening up. But it should be filled and sealed to avoid water going below and soaking the underneath foundation or whatever. Apron separating from the house where t...

Apron separating from the house where the concrete joined - will take a pic tomorrow...any suggestions on how to deal with? Its not a big shift per se, but enough to notice. Should I seal it? Also, any suggestions for who to use to build a pool? Area alredy mostly excavated...thinking igui (fibergla...

Re: The *Official* Trinidad Spotters Thread!

You know, I always loved Defender, for many reasons, but most of all for its simplicity and ruggedness. This new Defender has now taken a more luxurious approach which I feel is a step back to the legacy that is Defender. Not to mention that 1.1M price tag is utter madness. Defender is no longer my...

Alonso is talented but toxic. I'd rather he move on. look back at the last 3 decades...most of the greats were asholes I personally like Alonso. Renault sucks and he gonna struggle, but we'll see flashes of true brilliance, and some good drama There's a difference between toxic and diva behaviour. ...

rumors abound Alonso back with Renault next year. Still think they're the place to be for 2022.

Leaves Seb with one less option...wouldn't be surprised if RBR happens though given his interview yday with Horner, Gasly and Max on an RB sponsored channel
