Well pressure tester advised that gasket has blown...There goes $2000. and my Christmas! But thanks for all the advice on this thread. I use water and coolant, stuff bubbles over as far as question 3, gonna get it pressure tested today. Where is an affordable place

Dan...the overflow bubbling and steam was coming out. Mechanic was convinced it was thermostat, now that has been removed, dunno what the culprit is. Heats up while idling

like the subject says car overheating. Removed thermostat as that is a common problem. Worked well a couple of days, then overheating again. It has never shut down since I always pull over if gauge is close to red. No hose buss, no leaks that we have seen. No gasket blown, any ideas?
