I actually enjoy the sound of a finely tuned racing engine, it gives me goosebumps, but a rotary engine?? makes me want to cork my ears and hide. You so dotish it not funny weedwackers is a 2 stroke...

We bought an RX2 brand new many years ago when it now came out, a PZ, my brother crashed it into a drain and wrote it off, that was the best place for it. mazda has won the le mans race with the 787b the only japenese ...

R. Mutt maybe the 13b is closer to a 2.6l yet still it has higher output than that of a four-stroke piston engine of similar physical dimensions and weight and im not referring to the displacement it is more reliable, smoother, dissipates less heat and has a higher redline than a piston engine. ( t...

Thus, power output of a Wankel engine is generally higher than that of a four-stroke piston engine of s imilar engine displacement in a similar state of tune, and higher than that of a four-stroke piston engine of similar physical dimensions and weight. This design also allows the Wankel engine to h...

take into consideration that a normal four stroke cycle engine produces one combustion stroke per cylinder for every two revolutions (that is, one half power stroke per revolution per cylinder) each combustion chamber of each rotor in the Wankel generates one combustion 'stroke' per revolution (that...

too sum things up ......................... (from howstuffworks.com) rotary benefits fewer moving parts - This minimization of moving parts can translate into better reliability from a rotary engine. Smoother - The power delivery in a rotary engine is also smoother than a piston engine Slower - Sin...

Euro and Japanese emission standards ...

rotaries are plauged with problems. one of these is emissions. the emissions from rotaries are very hard to control. all in all which is better out of the 2 is a matter of opinion. but i'd take a rb26 over a 20b any given day. yet the 13b passed the emiisions test in america and the rb26 skyline di...
