Re: The official tropical weather thread 2017

So how coincidental is it that 24 years ago there was another Tropical Storm Bret that threatened Trinidad (originating from the same path east/southeast of us)? At that time I remembered it dying down a bit, skidded between Trinidad and Tobago and then went on to kill hundreds in Venezuela. What is...

Guys a little help is needed with respect to column spacing for a house. Some persons say 5m and some say 14ft for spacing. Which one is it??? That's 'rule of thumb', not engineering... If you start to think of live load, dead load and soil bearing capacity then you will have an idea of how many co...

Last time I recalled, T&TEC rolled in with army and police, disconnected everybody and as soon as they left man scale back up pole and hooked up back their 'jumper cables'... How do you combat this? Disconnect the entire community even though a percentage actually pay a bill?

If original engine or same type still in car then you can check underside of hood/bonnet for the sticker that has BTDC/RPM. Should look something like this:

Check the gauge of the material. The cheap ones are usually 22 and more, the quality stuff are 18 and less. A good quality single bowl SS in 16G measuring 33 X 22 costs about $4k
