Re: Parents on Tuner..how do you deal with your own child's indiscipline?

Out of curiousity, of all the responses received to OPs first post, how many of those are from *actual* parents? The mother in question here clearly knows what's best for her son and should continue treating him as usual since she knows his personality and circumstances and is an actual parent, it'...

Re: Parents on Tuner..how do you deal with your own child's indiscipline?

Out of curiousity, of all the responses received to OPs first post, how many of those are from *actual* parents? Who says you need to be a parent to give parenting advice? Noone. It's just that some of the most ridiculous parenting advice comes from people who are not parents who believe that paren...

Re: Building a house in Trinidad

If it's an outdoor wall I won't recommend gypsum mud as I am not sure it's designed for exposure to the elements. Indoor yes.

Outdoors you can consider spackle from Sherwin Williams. I used that and it's real good.

Re: T&T OFFICIAL New Vehicle Prices & Discussion Thread

It is a simple case of different strokes for different folks. I saw the Rush, demo'd it and did not like it. Some people like it possibly because of the Toyota reputation. Some folks don't like the Korean brands and some do. Some ppl think a Sorento is the epitome of luxury, and others like me see i...

400k for a RAV4. I mean, I like Toyota, own the 2014 RAV4, but gosh, that price is just exorbitant.

Re: *** THE OFFICIAL HOME THEATER & AUDIO THREAD**

That looks like a small and cozy room. Looks good.

What type of speakers are those? And the receiver seems to be a Yamaha, correct?

Why are you considering going Atmos? Make sure and do your research as there may be a limited quantity not Atmos films and streams on video providers.

Re: The | US Embassy | Thread - no more interviews to renew US visas

Generally, how long did it take to receive your Visa when choosing the delivery option? Mine is a renewal but my wife and son are first issue. When I checked the status it says that mine is under 'Administrative Processing' while theirs say 'Issued'. Did you get the VISA or is it still under admini...

ah GT allyuh How was the process since it should still be fresh in your mind ? Ok well here it is..... My appointment was at 10 am. I got there about 9.30am. The embassy's customer carpark was filled (maybe with about 10 cars) and the rates are high (i think it was about $10.00 or more /hr.)..... K...

Re: Building a house in Trinidad

Sherwin Williams does not have anything. I asked already although I suspect that something may be available through their industrial line, but I am not too familiar with those products.

Any specifics recommendations for a good primer and epoxy paint?

Re: Building a house in Trinidad

Good day folks. Can anyone recommend a good quality floor paint for concrete? The paint should also be suitable to use in a small box drain (sides and base, also concrete). The box drain only takes away rain water, surface runoff and some waste water from a washtub. I used a kaleidoscope paint but i...

I don't trust nor like any Bridgestone tyre. I'm running Michellin that I bought two years ago at a buy three get one free at Quickservice. Really good A/T tyres and for the price I paid, well worth it when comparing to the others that were available. It's the LTX Force, made for the South American ...

I use 2/3 of the bag for one 4 hour smoke and must be do about 5 chimney starters and still the meat eh done. I had to finish it in the oven. End up using then rest of p...

Best thing fora long smoker is not those charbroil toys. Make your own.... I had one made and then I did the final touches. Used 18" Sch 30 Carbon Steel Piping. With a wall thickness of 3/8" that thing does retain heat like a boss. Could get all atleast 4 hours of smoking using two chimney...

Re: T&T OFFICIAL New Vehicle Prices & Discussion Thread

Just looked at the promo video on Tuners website. The features seem adequate for the price, but chaos is right. The back of the car leaves alot to be desired and that split rear glass is quite an unusual design concept. Curious how visibility will be through the rear. One good thing though - this ve...

Interesting there OP, re: mitsubishi.

The prices are nice for what you are getting. The only thing that stood out was the two airbags. That is something of a let down in this day and age and for that price range.

Bizol as well... The fuel lines was disconnected and inserted into the cannister with the flush and the engine allowed to run (using the flush as a fuel) until the engine choked out and died.

Re: Building a house in Trinidad

This could be caused due to one of several causes. For example, it could be a short in a wire. I have a TAU gate and some years ago, I noticed that whenever it was raining, the gate wold randomly open and close. I would have to kill the main breaker to the gate to stop that from happening. After a f...

what engine you have ? Did an oil change over the weekend. Was using 15W40 Castrol and tried 10W40 Bizol. Engine idling smoother and quieter. Wifey notice the same thing as well. Will see how it works in the long run. 1KD - Toyota Fortuner. Additionally, did a diesel flush to clean the injectors so...
