Actually this is one time Trinidad got a one up. If you do some deeper research you'll find that Hyundai rushed the launch of the ioniq hybrid in Europe first with the 12v li ion battery being a tap of the larger traction battery. After just a few weeks there were numerous complaints and they subseq...
I have a 2009 cerato at 205k and i just changed an ignition coil. Perfect operation otherwise. On the other hand my wife's 2011 accent had the transmission changed after about 20k. Make of it what you will. My opinion is that globalisation means that no manufacturer is light years ahead in anything,...
Had an interesting event with McEnearney Motors Went into the Ford showroom recently just on a whim and seeing that they had this new impressive looking place. Looked at the Kugas and was told there were two models Trend -$289,000 Titanium - $359,000 Both have the same engine, AWD etc. Main differe...
I once saw an episode of top gear where Jeremy Clarkson said buying a car because it's reliable is like marrying a woman because she's punctual and there should be more emotion in it that. lol But I see what he means; buy what you like. If you plan to keep any vehicle for 10 years I don't think you ...
The transmission might be going. You should probably try to press them at Southern Sales, I heard about this happening with a couple of the hyundai 4 spd, but it isn't very common so good luck. Is it still in warranty?
Does it happen in specific gears ie 1st to 2nd or something like that. Also do you have any problems with the reverse gear (taking longer than usual to engage or going in 'hard')
On hindsight I shouldn't have posted anything lol. On topic though, those prius prices are ridiculous not to mention I find the car to be one of the ugliest things ever conceptualized
Actually the new mazda 3 has a hybrid option which is widely available online which when you take off the applicable taxes brings it in at under 200k. I'm seriously looking at one. Mazda were pretty smart in that they just lifted the best hybrid tech currently available (the prius) and dropped it in...
A 6 yr loan as opposed to a 5 year loan makes perfect sense for some people. For a 150k loan it's a difference of 500 a month which could be used for more everyday expenses.
So is it a hand rest or a head rest? Because no hand rest is a complete deal breaker, my wife's car has no hand rest I feel like committing suicide when I drive it.
PS
She loves it , says its the perfect place for her handbag
I think this is trend we are going to see continue at least here in trinidad. I'm just going on anecdotal evidence but I think the elantra and cerato already outsell the lancer, civic and mazda 3. The unfortunate truth is that the things we consider to make a car superior just isn't relevant to the ...
Thanks alot. I didn't think such amazing figures could be posted with a turbo engine rated at 160hp. About economy getting better with more miles I have personally seen that to be true with all the cars I have owned.
That is a pretty good deal. Between the new 3, the korean twins, cruze and focus; this is fantastic time to be buying a new car in this which is probably considered the mass market bracket. Salesmen are gonna really have to work for their money. All deals are so good I think it would probably come d...
WoW!!! Actually what i want to know is whats missing besides the sun roof and the 17 inch rims from the model i paid 240k for? No sunroof, 16 inch wheels vs your 17, single CD player as opposed to the 6 cd changer in yours, no cruise control based on the specs mammoo just posted. Not a bad trim off...
I'm sorry, the engine is the heart of a car if it's not skyactiv then that is not a skyactiv model in my opinion. I actually checked it out on Saturday and from the time you open the hood it's immediately apparent that the engine is not for that car. They didn't even bother to put a cover on it. Whi...
Actually the US market does get a detuned version that uses 91RON however we like most other places get the Japanese version which would require 95. Also I don't think the Trinidad market is large enough to dictate too much what they want
