CVT OIL IN REG TRANNY QUEST??

Goodnite, my wife recently purchased a roro ad, the engine is a hr15 with a non-cvt tranny. When i checked the tran oil i recognized it was strangely very low (below the low marking). She then took back the car to the dealer and after explaining the prob he topped up with the nissan cvt ns2 oil!!!! ...

just bout an es5 civic and when the mechanic removed the tappet pan cover there was a very thick layer of gunk!!! what the best way to remove this thanks!!!!
