If it is a problem with the valve body you don't need to replace the entire transmission. You can get a new valve body for less than an entire new transmission. You can pm me or call 784-1808 for more info.

Does anyone have the clutch pedal assy, brake pedal assy, and the clutch master cylinder for the bl5 or bp5 legacy?

LF/WTB sti 6 speed dccd gearbox. I checked the usual places, gobin has a few but the prices are kinda steep. I know he has good parts but damn I didn't know that the 6 speed boxes were so expensive. Lance where did you get your 6 speed gearbox?

Re: LEGACY GROUP TRINIDAD; THE PLACE WHERE WE MEET ;-)

'Media' good to know you made some progress. The noise in my car has evolved, lol. I can no longer here the 'rattle' from before but it is making a completely different noise. On a cold start there is an audible knocking comming from on the driver's side of the engine. But as soon as it warms up the...

Re: Help with enclosure for Infinity 860w

Thanks to all who took the time to offer some help. Well in the end I had the enclosure built buy someone. The guy didn't build it to the exact size that harman listed, instead he used the specifications of the sub to design his own enclosure. I'm no expert but the results were really surprising, it...

Re: Help with enclosure for Infinity 860w

Well from the spec sheet it says that the ported enclosure should have a volume of 0.6ft^3 but is this gross volume or net (taking into account the volume of the woofer and port)? Also I tried plugging in the woofer's parameters into winISD pro and came up with this: http://i57.tinypic.com/2lcwln9.j...

Help with enclosure for Infinity 860w

I'm trying to add a little bass to the sound system in my car. Nothing too over the top, just enough for inside the car. The sub I am going to use will be the Infinity 8" 860w (250 wrms). Can anyone offer some advice WRT building the enclosure? The following are the specs from Harman: http://ww...

Re: LEGACY GROUP TRINIDAD; THE PLACE WHERE WE MEET ;-)

KiD - I don't have an oil pressure gauge in the car. The car is basically bone stock. Yesterday I got a chance to put the car on a ramp and it seems the sound is comming from between the engine and the transmission by the torque converter housing. Also the engine oil is fairly new, its Amsoil 20w -5...

Re: LEGACY GROUP TRINIDAD; THE PLACE WHERE WE MEET ;-)

Well I did an oil analysis on the oil but it didn't show any excessive amount of metals so it seems that the rod bearings are still intact. I also checked the knock sensor which seems ok. Right now I'm totally lost as to what could be causing this. Any of the resident legacy/subie experts have any i...

Re: LEGACY GROUP TRINIDAD; THE PLACE WHERE WE MEET ;-)

Actually I took down the transmission at home so the broken sensor is my fault . Yesterday I got the car back up.and running but I'm still hearing the 'noise'. I was thinking that I could probably log the car to see if it is 'knock' from the engine or something else :?

Well I started to scrap out some stuff today. Hopefully tomorrow I will pull the transmission and see for sure if the flex plate is the problem.
