A slack over flow bottle cover is not an issue. That is not designed to seal as there is a vent to atmosphere hose on the bottle/cap

Re: Radiator loosing coolant

Hi Folks, Just to let you all know, the problem seems to have been solved. I was advised to change the overflow bottle. The cover on this bottle was loose (has been like that for years) and this is where (for some strange reason) the coolant recently started leaking out. So, I got a new overflow bo...

Re: Petrotrin refinery to shut down?

The Rowley PNM might be even more dotish than the Manning PNM. But even with that if you look at the world globally more and more countries are pushing renewable energy harder and harder. Hybrid cars right here in Trinidad are exploding in popularity, if something isn't done soon to diversify our e...

Re: :: The official TOOLS thread ::

I just can't handle the prices some machine shops does want to charge to do simple bushing work.. I would rather use the same money and invest it in tools and do the job myself. I have built crude DIY 'lathes' in the past to build custom bushes to mount radiators etc.. Like this for example: [img]h...

Re: PNM to Increase retirement Age

As of 4 yrs ago you could not pay for yourself. Unless you have a personal registered company and you are an employer paying yourself. I enquired when I was laid off then. And not a soul in NIB sando office knew about paying on your own or could give you guidance on what to do.

Pic doesn't seem to want to upload.

Points to note. Leave about 4ft extra drip tape at the ends of rows to cater for shrinkage and expansion. And secure with a peg and tie it down.
At intervals tape has to be pegged to the ground to prevent blowing in the wind.
