Just do your mods one step at a time. Get the engine in, check your suspension (ie ends, bushings, etc), align the car,check the brakes........
You get the idea, take your time to set it up and you will learn your car, enjoy it and most importantly reduce bad spending....

Check out the Sumitumo HTR200 (not the HTR2000)!
Been using them for a while and they handle well in both dry and wet.
Cost about $450 for 195 15 50 but worth it.
