Re: K20a swap cost?

did you ever consider the h22/f20 swap??

you can just get the engine and go with the h2b kit. you already have the gearbox and you can use your bseries axles.

Re: My EK4.

So I haven't updated the car for a while. Since the last post, the car has been repainted in the original color. I replaced the 2 front fenders because they were rolled and it was easier to replace than repair and the front bumper that was hit previously. The rear arches were returned to original co...

Re: help/ advice FD1 civic

i had a similiar problem with my FA2 (which i think is similiar to the FD) in 2011. of course my biggest thing was that the car was less than 4 yrs old and the bearings were bad already?? there are cars out there older than my car with higher mileage and have never changed rear bearings and i hadda ...

Re: W.T.K Good Exhaust barrel for my 98 Ek3

Crazy Chris. i agree with NY4PD . installed the black oval barrel on my car and so far so good. it's not a loud sound, or as some people say, a fart barrel, but has a nice tone. i brought it in myself. u will have to weld a bracket to the lip to hang it onto the car and either weld the exhaust pipe...

nice sleeper. b16b block with b18c5 internals  or any type of different internals. sounds like somebody we know

but will i have the same feel out of vtec with that combo, ie, lack of power :?:

who say let me get a pull with their b18c5 :?: :)

Re: My EK4.

i have owned both and i agree with u guys on the b16a vs b16b below vtec. but once the vtec kicks in, u feel the difference between both. i don't know if the b18c5 feels the same but it would be nice to have some more power before the vtec kicks in. i have been think b20vtec but for now, quite happy...

Re: My EK4.

1001. if u mean if it touches on the fender when i turn, no. what has been touching is the exhaust when i go over humps and the tires rub on the inside when i make a turn the wheels all the way in. i checked the offset on the wheels and turns out it is +50 which explains why the tires touch on the ...

Re: wtk : why use CTR cams on a b20frank??

X2. what u are saying makes a lot of set with regards to not going over 8K. the understanding i have is the b20 franks makes all its power lower down so there is no need to rev the engine hard to acheive this. i am quite comfortable with a 7500rpm limit. Mill the B20 head, however, if i mill the he...

wtk : why use CTR cams on a b20frank??

ok. so been doing some research and a lot of guys are saying that CTR cams are the best to use on a b20frank with stock internals. now my thoughts are CTR cams make power at high revs. if that is true, if going b20frank, my power would be on the lower revs so why use CTR cams?? also, alot of guys sa...

fass4drs. i need to install the camber kit and change out the solid energy supension trailing arm bushing and go back OEM. never liked the ride on the car with that solid bushing. that's about all i have planned suspension wise. don't plan to upgrade the brakes as the braking on the car is quite go...

Re: My EK4.

Gx7. i decided to give the GC and Koni set up a try as I got it at a fairly good price. i was very skeptical at first about this whole coilover deal as i had driven in cars with coilover set ups and was not impressed with the ride for a daily driver. i must say, for a daily driver, it is quite comf...

Gx7. not planning to sell them. they are my back up springs. adriano7910. they are the standard off the shelf kit and are either 350/250 or 380/280. i completed the installation myself and so far, can't complain on the ride. you tend to feel the dips on the highway a bit more than the Espelir sprin...

Re: W.T.K painting valve covers

well why u don't try and do it urself??

u can get a tin of the wrinkle red paint from Duplicolor for $150 and a bottle of paint stripper for about $60.

i got my tin from 2DMax in Chase Village. if u don't live in central, u can get it from Driveline Retailers.
