How to know if you have a sohc or dohc 4g93 engine. My car '99 is a EA1A series Galant Vivace.

Hi Guys, I need to do an engine rebuild for my 4g93 engine, does anyone know where I can get this done and at what cost or is it easier to swap it out with a used engine from the bamboo.

Has anyone tried to mount the new lancer engines into a galant, the ones they currently sell in Trinidad ?

Fine wire is a control wire to determine how hard to drive the MOSFET transistor where the 300 ohm resistor is located. the heatsink is primarily used to cool the MOSFET transistor since it will be handling a lot of current and acts as the load resistor in series with the A/C fan blower.

Which purolator did you get for the Galant, I got two different types L14459 and L14612.

By the way what was the stock K&N filter, went to Car boutique and got a K&N 33-2147 was kinda small in depth and slightly bigger than the OEM filters. Is this the correct one ?

What are the symptoms to indicate that the Catalytic converter is fouled or clogged. Wondering if you G-men still have them in your cars. What benefit is there for not having them in terms of increase in horsepower... Still want to know where I can get me a couple of those coil packs from foreign.
