So over the weekend i tried some stuff. I removed one of the alternator wires and the voltage reads 15.1 constantly. Thats some useful info adnj. currently i have a voltmeter on the cig lighter. However while im not driving i hook a multimeter to the 4g wire at the amp and use the seat bolts as the ground. I get the same voltage. Only the fuse block interupts the 4g power line. I will try to wire a meter directly ...

Installed thr tiida alternator on my qg. No issues with it. Not much belt play ,kinda close to the rad fans and exhaust.other than that it works up great. My guy wired up a dongle to jack from my original to the tiida one. If i ever want to revert its very easy.plug n play

Anyone experience severe rattling when accelerating qg18de (nothing when off the throttle). Car also hard starts when cold,nedd about a minute of tumbling.. Anyone install tiida alternator on N16 /almera

I have heard from a few persons they installed the higher amperage tiida alternator onto their qg18 almera- direct swap in/same belts etc. Can anyone confirm this is true or not? im lookin to upgrade this stock alternator as soon as possible.

called PRICEMART, only POS branch has in stock. They go with a 2 year warranty as well. I was told you need to come in withing 14days and have their people check your car to validate it.
