Re: SOLODEX 2011 DATES!!!

I've got a question about the mandatory dyno. From the rules I'm seeing that your vehicle must be in competition trim at the time of the dyno so the class can be established. Does this therefore elminate the possibilities of mods throughout the season as the car would not have been in the same state...

Re: Show us your BJ!

thanks wildcard! I'm thinking about painting the calipers in the same black. I have to get the dog bones for the setup though. Anyonne has an idea of the pricing on the service kits? Or what do you get with it? Oh and I'm not putting on the front flare till I send my car to paint, which might be in ...

Re: Show us your BJ!

that sounds like a plan! I've got to do the same for what I've got on the car now too. Got some good heat resistant paint.

Gotta change my pads too, cuz the ones I have are annoying the hell outta me. And they're brand new, ohk

Re: Show us your BJ!

Just posting some pics of what I have to install Here's the rear lip that I painted flat black to match with my rims. I think the black looks nice and silky. http://forums.trinituner.com/upload/data/b8/IMG00472-20101227-1325.jpg Here's the sideskirts that I just gave a couple coats of flat black. Th...

Re: Show us your BJ!

nah boy naresh, I don't know bout the gearbox nah. If it was a sport 20 and came with the box, then is no scene. But I think the activematic is the best of both worlds. I find it's real responsive and I don't think I'd change it willingly. If I mess up the tranny and I really can't get one back, the...

Re: Show us your BJ!

lol! I'll have to check 7381 in a timing, cuz I find the back really looking bare. Cool guy, bought my strut bar from him. I bought the sideskirts months ago in the bamboo. Paid $800. This guy in Edinburgh, Siew, he does fibreglass work, so he's doing the front and back for me. $1500. I think I'm go...

Re: Show us your BJ!

damn that's a gorgeous wing!!

y'know, I used to see a black bj sedan that I think used to work taxi from somewhere north to chaguanas. I find that used to look best. I think it even had a roof scoop. I know, I know, taxi + roof scoop, but believe me it used to look real good coming down the highway.

aye fellas. I've been having a similar problem for a while. I've got the 1.5 ZL, no engine swap or anything so all wiring should be good. my problem is: a rough idle and when slowly accelerating from stand still that's when it seems like it wants to cut off and I hear a backfiring sound coming from ...

well with the tiptronic it regulates when you can downshift safely(don't know if it's based on rpm or speed), so for example if I'm on 3rd gear and I'm faster than 120km then I can't shift down to 2nd, If I slow down to 120 or less, then I can shift down. So it was using that 'theory' that I figured...
