I remember my days of being a misguided young grasshopper and came to some events. ...

Re: Evo 8 budget build ! Pics coming soon!

sub wise. what frequency should i tune too that would play good for a wide range of music? As I always suggest to people, ported box tuning is something that is personal preference based on the type of music you listen too. If in question, the recommended enclosure in the manual is good staring poi...

Re: Evo 8 budget build ! Pics coming soon!

i mean you wont hear any noticeable difference with or without the line driver but imo its a big unit and will cut down and space, weight and wiring for your install if you omit it. The MS8 is fine if you have it already. Any of those new pioneers radios could process this system easily, its fairly ...

I'm pretty sure his gain knob is functional.

I would first try the passives in the bi-amp config. Sometimes the tuning and retuning of an active system takes the fun out of listening for enjoyment. Ask me how I know. Now, I leave crossovers and processing to the experts in whose R&D I trust. If however, you're looking to compete in a seri...

5k or less for a full system with oem head unit???? Sorry i will have to decline any further options that i would recomend. You can look at a cheap 5 channel that takes speaker input for less than 2k and a pre made sub box for around 1k or less and then you have installation wiring and labor unless...

Re: Planning a budget sq build

The ARCXDi850.5 fits your budget OP. It is priced at TTD$3000.00
For SQ purposes I would avoid a singe 8 and maybe do a sealed 10.
If the 8" is unavoidable go ported with it.

At the moment one can purchase a single din head unit relatively cheap and have their entire system actively crossed over, time compensated, have speak...
