I'm not a gamer but my son is chronic on fortnite.

InPalmiste Amplia is rock steady, his Pings are in the low 80s, no packet loss.

Away from that the bandwidth has never tested much below the contract, we don't have significant down time...as was constantly the reality with flow.

Re: Did Finland's basic income experiement work?

Why would the result be anything different to the Dole in the UK or less directly CEPEP here or any social program that offers permanent compensation.
Money for nothing will always create a class of people that make themselves happy at that income level.

Re: Sandals Thread!

I NEVER supported the rapid rail....the closest I came was to ask for justification. In terms of Sandals...the reality is that the GORTT would have leaned on the private sector....for some if not all of the finance. Again...if the analysis shows that the benefits outweigh the costs...then why not. I...

16B loan at 5% invested in infrastructure and hotels and highways, ports etc etc etc giving an ROI of 15%-is good business. And yeah borrowing USD at 5% with US inflation is 2-3% and putting it into solid projects is just about the cheapest money we can get. Like EVERYTHING in finance-cost benefit-Re...

Yup. But it would have been the standard deal for Sandals. 25 year tax holiday in the first, then 15 additional years, plus exemptions from taxes/duties on all foreign workers, and all goods imported for/to run the Hotel. Plus, we would have spent about TT$8 billion to build and outfit the Hotel. P...

Maybe an imperfect start is better than no start?

IMHO Sandals should hav been the first of 2-5 international resort chins to be invited into the island.
So if we got sandals MOSTLY right-then it still would be a platform to get more done.
