Re: Trinidad and Tobago V8 projects

Re: Biker loses life at NARA DRAG

WRT the helmet not being fastened, I don't see how that's the fault of anyone else but the racer... Sure the track have a helmet rule in place, but it's impossible to check every racer to see how tighten their straps etc. Recently at a track in Maryland, a racer removed his helmet as he crossed the ...

The yellow Laurel needs a chassis adjustment, bcuz it's not launching as hard as it's supposed to... It don't even look like it's leaving on the wheelbars. But it's good to see those guys out there having fun

Judging from the engine bay pic of the Mustang, it missing the factory installed Supercharger, therefore it's more than likely a Shelby clone..

The FD engine mounts different from a RE Cosmo engine.. Those mounts above is for RE, which gets bolted to the plates. The FD mounts from under the engine by the oil pan.. Not even sure if someone makes a mount kit for a REW engine to FC chassis. I know my friend added custom chromoly bar aross the ...

Re: My First Generation RX7 Project

Hmm got it.. Keep an eye on your Ackerman angle bcuz that's very important for a street car. A lot of race cars & drift guys can get away with it being off but it tends to be more noticeable at low speeds. That's why I'm a bit cautious about swapping knuckles left to right.

Re: My First Generation RX7 Project

Yep, the FC subframe swap requires you to drill 2-4 holes into the frame rails. I don't remember the exact details as I did it 6-7yrs ago, but it wasn't anything overly difficult. I only did it bcuz it allowed me to easily expand my options if installing different motors (RE, 20B, etc.).. It also go...

Re: My First Generation RX7 Project

FC front subframe swap will allow you to run the FC rack & pinion steering plus you'll have the added bonus of using the FC struts & bigger brakes. It's a pretty simple swap
