It only puffs smoke on start up?

Hey Rob. Did you adjust the switch for the amount of boost you're running? I'm not familiar with the Devil's Own Switches, but the CoolingMist switches are supposed to be adjustable from 1-25psi with a small hex key. Also, be careful how you mount it. Over tightening the mounting screw can cause th...

I checked with my contacts MAP and they couldn't source it. If Recaro gives you any suppliers in MN I can try to help out. So back on track, plans changed slightly. I'm gonna try to get two motors built and installed before MAP's proving grounds in June. Motor #1 - Full rebuild, stock 2.0l. Gonna tr...

yup I always liked the friendly Neon ads There were a couple of them locally....bigger in real life than I had imagined Yea they are. I fit more comfortably in the neon than in my forester. Though I prefer the seating in for forester for cruising. The neon fits better for faster pedal action  ...

That's not a problem.
Problem is folks put BIGGER displacement engines (2.0) in cars that came with smaller displacement engines (1.6l/1.8l) without factoring in the cooling system capability.

I fail to see how you can talk about mundane in the context of new cars. Every era of cars has had dull and uninspiring cars. Imo we are living in another golden age of the automobile. RWD is making a comeback, turbos and management are making powerful but clean horses, 200. Bhp is the new baseline...

Funny thing is...its got tiny turbos, plain ol fashioned V8 horsepower, hand-made and wrapped exhaust, manual shifting, no traction control, no fancy touch screens, paddles, a bunch of toggle switches and made in Murica. And what's even more ironic is that had this been a post about a GTR or some o...
