there used to be cylinder lubrication issues in the early days as well


I was thinking about this just this morning, how they keep oil from flowing into the cumbustion chamber.

biggest advantage is smaller rotational mass from the crankshaft (counterweighting not as big an issue) as a result power delivery is smoother (Dragsta,) and low end response is enhanced.

The engine can compensate for any nonsense you might do thanks to the ECU, but up to a point.

Engines break becasue physical laws were violated. If you did something to result in that you need to do some homework before you ever pick up a torque wrench again...

hey, like I always tell people, if I wanted boost I would've bought a car with a turbocharged engine. Not buy an expensive engine, then do a crapload of expensive work to get it to last under any decent amount of boost.
