Re: Oil spill at Port of Spain Waterfront

Realistically this was a harbour front. There is always going to be some kinda oil spill look at the area by the lighthouse. Ema always investigating but nothing comes out of it as this is not the first oil spill in that area and no measures have been implemented to prevent future spills. Just look ...

Re: Got a Malinois: What to Expect?

This is not a house dog....needs a big yard with lots of space to run. 10x more intelligent than a shepherd and will test you and outsmart stupid people. Excellent security dog and skilled at jumping high fences so make sure your yard is secure. Takes training very easy but you must spend time with ...

Re: Food standards in Trinidad and Tobago

When doing fund raisers most common items that can spoil quickly is the cooked rice and anything with mayo as it done ahead of time and many of these places are not equiped for volume storage of these items. Bbq chicken for eg is cooked onsite and placed in coolers to keep hot until packed into boxes

Re: 08 Toyota Fielder Idle Rpm / Charging "Issues"

Everyone selling those alts tell you that but how many of them can supply you with the correct pulley. Currently running a 200amp with an internal regulator on a 1nze engine with a smaller pulley but it still needs a higher engine rpm than normal at idle to charge properly. Runnning zero gauge from ...

Re: 08 Toyota Fielder Idle Rpm / Charging "Issues"

Most aftermarket alternators require a higher idling rpm to produce proper charging. Even with a smaller pulley.

Kick panels pods were a big thing in the 90s gave excellent imaging

These were the days when people used path lengths and speaker placement as dsp technology was in its infancy

Re: Charging problem

You shouldnt be having those issues on a 3000 rms system even with a 90amp alt and supplimentary battery. Not sure on the accuracy of a tiida 140amp alt. Depends on which tiida it came out from. The models with the e drive should have the higher rated alt as opposed to the regular tiida. Check the p...

Re: SMD bench testing services here in t&t?

To ru that setup other than the amp dyno $3500US you will also require a decent battery bank and charging system for the bank. How much do you think the average trini will pay to have thier amp tested? And how many people will want to do this. Most trinis dont even want to pay labor charges for repa...
