Re: Swift gti wiring issues/ timing advance.

Re: Liqui Moly

Used the injector cleaner as well and I'm sure it is better than others because I have used others before this over a long period of time and still have a little off idle. This was the only thing to stop it so far

Re: Liqui Moly

I use the Synthoil 5w40, it does not burn off as much as the amsoil used to in my car... the car has 100K + km on the clock so some oil loss is expected.

Re: sx4 engine oil

Company does recommend anything once the supplier approaches them in the correct way. Ever noticed that Ftfarfan very close to lifestyle lol. Also on the audies their engine caps says use castrol oil (advertising gimmick) but Southern sales uses Shell. Also note that the work shop manual says to use...

Re: Just joined!! Need a few questions answered...

Concerning the pin, I recently encountered one that was stuck pretty tight. When I soaked with WD40, it eventually budged with some pounding with a rubber hammer

Re: Just joined!! Need a few questions answered...

Yes heat range 6 and yes higher number means colder plug. I have no idea why your fuel cut comes in so early unless its a different engine. Others may have a better idea.

Re: Just joined!! Need a few questions answered...

I sugest u put the GTi on jack stands or lift it, then roll each wheel with your hand. This is to check that the brakes are not binding prematurely (can be due to stuck piston or caliper pin).

Re: Just joined!! Need a few questions answered...

bpr 6eix for the black, bkr 6eix-11 for the blue those are the NGK iridium plugs. Oil and filter is determined on how long you want to take between oil changes, 5000km or do your want more?
