Re: 4WD B14 Conversions

Seems like I might need to look into keeping it FWD.

I'm not shy to hack some metal, but not if it means compromising the chassis integrity.

Re: 4WD B14 Conversions

The conversion to the 4wd b14 set up requires cutting the floor of the car straight down the center and by the drivers feet, this is to accomodate the driveshaft and the transfer case. Be careful as this may weaken the structure of the car. I knew the 4WD B14 had differences but I didn't realize th...

4WD B14 Conversions

Hi Guys, I'm in the market for some advice on a new project i'm looking into. The car has sentimental value so I'm interested in doing it to this particular donor - please no sell it and buy a GTiR, EVO, Subaru etc. recommendations I'm shooting for about 500whp so the drivetrain would need to be cap...

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

Yes.. it comes in the legacy gt and the 2008 and onwards WRX (s-gt in Japan) until the introduction of the FA/B engine.. people say these engines like to spin bearings.. I was just wondering if the higher rev limit could cause it if it was using the same pump as the ej205 Also what does oil look li...

Both ej20x and ej20y use 12mm pumps only.

Are these Dual AVCS motors?

Should both be 10mm pumps. But sometimes it's not always the case.

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

I was planning on doing a W/M setup to tune with Super but I have a wagon. No where safe to put the tank. And no guarantee that my wife is going to check and refill the tank when required. Premium cheaper than and engine rebuild. There are some tanks where you can integrate the pump into the base o...

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

I don't think I want to tune to super.. spending money to make my car slower kinda don't make sense.. I'll look into the road tune.. in the mean while I'm upgrading to an all metal intercooler and doing an Intake and exhaust upgrade. Already did an all metal radiator upgrade and tranny cooler upgra...

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

A road tune should be fine for your needs. So as long as the tuner is competent and really spends the time to dial in the car. You can hold them to incremental benefits on the dyno because you have a measurable outcome (hp/tq). On the road you rely on the butt dyno, so you can be swayed if you aren'...

Re: Most affordable and Reliable Sea Freight Company

Seabox isn't probably what he's looking for. This is a consumer's version the skybox. While the rates are cheaper than the latter they are still no match for what you would pay for dedicated sea freight and consolidated shipping (providing you have the volume to back it up). Seabox also recently rai...

Re: Cost of an HDC house......need price for econ presentation. URGENT!!!!!

The HDC is just another one of those mechanisms to siphon economic rents (no pun). It replaced the NHA back in 2005 and has NEVER published its audited accounts. The HDC act actually requires the housing minister to publish audited accounts every 6 months. So governments past and present have actual...

Re: Cost of an HDC house......need price for econ presentation. URGENT!!!!!

Units range from $400K-$800K normally. There are also units over $1.3M I could never understand why the HDC, charged with building homes for the masses would embark on the construction on homes with a unit cost of 1.3M. Clearly these homes are not designed for persons seeking "critical housing...

Drilling out the hole, tapping it for the bolt and using some thread sealant should have been sufficient for this.

The premise is the same. It has to do with proper atomisation before the airflow encounters any physical restriction.

Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

The issue has more to do with the physical blockage that a partially open throttle blade will cause. I think it becomes more of an issue due to the proximity of the nozzle and the blade (not enough area to have achieved fill atomisation before). This is why aem probably recommends more than 6" ...

Under the tmic, right before the inlet for the intake manifold is where most people put it.. if you have one of those oversized tmic I've seen it run on the exposed piping.. Re: The Tuning Thread- EJ Motor

Lance. Where would the water meth nozzle be best mounted in a setup using a stock intercooler? To be honest, The stock top mount setup on the Subaru makes finding a good position for the nozzle very difficult. Most manufacturers (aem for example) recommends post intercooler and about minimum 6"...

so anyone in here was visited by valuation people??? They visit u already? The OPM released a statement saying that no valuation visits have commenced. When it does, they are urging property owners to verify that the valuations are in official uniform and in possession of ministerial Identification.

Re: Property Tax in Trinidad & Tobago

Has the ministry provided any insight into exactly how they are going to deal with properties that have hybrid classifications i.e. partially rented and partially occupied by the owner for residential purposes.

All I am seeing is "Property will be assessed by its proportional use"
