Re: wtk: reporting an illegal construction

This has traditionally been a tricky problem. In fact property owners are well within their rights to build on their properties once the off-sets as noted before in this thread are complied with. The state on the other hand is supposed to have well defined road-reserves which in principle should addr...

Re: RedJet to offer fares starting at US$10

Always remember you get what you pay for.I strongly suggest customers carefully examine the terms and policies which govern the ticket provided. Low cost budget travel is normally best suited for flyers who don't have a care in the world or have the luxury of lots of time and a capacity to accomodat...

Re: Spring difference between the local NZE141 and US versio

Generally the suspension specs. for the US vehicles tend to require a more robust standard as compared to units for less stringent markets. This is mainly due to DOT requirement dictated as minimum stds. to manufactures. A classic example is the NZE121 Corolla where for the US the Corolla of similar ...

Re: Min of Education stops extra-curricular activities

I happened to view channel 3 this morning which had a tele interview with Minister on subject matter as well as a little on the Religion initiative in the schools. Really, based on what i heard it all appeared reasonable and in the case of extra-curricular activities it is about rationalisation and l...

Re: Quantity Surveyor Report vs Builder Estimate

The loan to build in many instance is what is called a bridging loan. What this loan really does is facilitate the construction of a building on land which will become subject to a long term mortgage when the property inclusive of land and building is deemed complete. Here is where the services of a ...

Hook, absolutely no disrepect or insensitivity was mean't,but in order to properly commensurate with grief and mourning of loved ones it's only natural for right minded people to want a context. In fact when one goes to a wake to provide solace the question all asks is 'WHAT REALLY HAPPEN?' But then...

Re: The Government was right ????

I remember the then Minister of Energy Mr.Patrick Manning launching the first CNG pilot about 1984/1985 with the ROSS CNG STATION in claxton bay.Unfortunately, nothing significant after that.
In those days there was even the interest in pipe gas to homes.

Re: Can any tuners share info. on kite building

The observations made by sMASH are all true.In fact a tuner going to a parent for support on kite building and admitting so, is for me quite exemplary (how many today have that relationship).
I am putting my plans to go after this project down on paper and hopefully i can work on it Sunday coming.

I have witnessed instances where real bad men when facing clear and present danger from the authorities wet themselves down, start to call for god and wimper like babies.
The "badist" behaviour is not a Jamaican thing (but they do stand-out) but has more global frequencies.
