Think I just killed a black cribo in the backyard.
Sorry I did. But he was under some leaf litter when I was hunting snails and took me by surprise. My heel was faster. Kicked him into the lot next door. Was extremely black. Not sure what other snakes are that colour locally.

Well I could say it then. I know police who going on operations and they get handed handfuls of ammo to split up between them. Some of them say the ammo looking 20 years old. They eh even getting to full magazines from the ammo they getting. And if is 20 men going on a operation sometimes is 3 or 4...
