Re: Flow Internet Thread

Just for the record. Couldn't upload this last night :/ lol (look at the times in the taskbar) Check out previous posts for problem description. Afterward though, been getting pretty decent speeds, even to Florida and with torrents. Upwards of 8 for d/l (wired connection), and I've noticed 10 fairl...

Steering wheel puller

Anyone know where I can get a steering wheel puller locally? Doing some work on the vehicle and I need one to change out the cable reel behind the steering wheel. Maybe a shop that will do the pull for me or lend the tool (I know this one is a long shot). Hesitating to buy one cuz I don't really for...

Re: Flow Internet Thread

Called this morning. They say they're aware of it, couple other customers complained, they're working on it. But I expect this is the usual speech. Did explain the bit about local speeds being fine, but international speeds being shot, but doubt that info will make it past the phone conversation.

Re: Flow Internet Thread

All this tells us is that the modem is searching for a downstream connection and can't get one. Only Flow can tell you the reason (if they even give you a proper one). You just have to hope you get a good customer service rep when you call really. I think you can call anytime. I got through around 8...

Re: Flow Internet Thread

Called Flow last night, they immediately admitted there was an outage in the area and that service would be restored ASAP. By this morning service is back, all lights solid green except link which is blinking green. Speedtest below - first to POS then to Tampa FL. http://www.speedtest.net/result/354...

This I agree with, speeds have been known to fluctuate for me, I don't get the 10 (same cost that I was paying for the 5 before) but I don't get below 5

Re: Flow Internet Thread

Not trying to rub it in for anyone, but my service in Chaguanas has been up to par these days, no problems or drops at all. Will keep those rebates in mind if it does happen.

Re: Anyone ordered from amayama.com?

^^ That looks pretty fast, what date did you actually place the order? And if you don't mind posting it, how much was the shipping? I recently paid about $600TTD in shipping (alone) for some shocks from the US.

Actually, maybe I'll switch my phone to 2g only mode and see how that works, you might have a point. (Settings>More Settings>Mobile Networks>Network Mode (S3) if anyone else is interested)

Re: TSTT WiMax 4G/Hotspot and HSPA+ Thread

Because the edge rates are barely less than the 4g and the 4g works sometimes. 2g $150, 4g $179.
