Sorry... but the published Road Tests & Reviews don't agree with your comments. NONE of what I said is just personal opinion... ALL can be verified by auto journalists & engineers who are a lot more experienced than any of us here. I don't agree with your untested "seat-of-the-pants&qu...

Re: END OF THE PASSON! Evo on the slippery slope to extincti

All evo x's are powered by the same 2.0 4B11 turbo engine, no official models carry a larger displacement engine. There are only 2 transmissions available, 5 speed manual or 6 speed twin clutch automated transmission (SST) Typically in the U.S. The GSR is 5 Speed and the MR is 6 speed twin clutch SS...

Re: END OF THE PASSON! Evo on the slippery slope to extincti

Also just read Mark's (Carvtech's)comments on their failure with the evo. X and couldn't help but laugh, seems like 4 years ago not enough was known about the evo x for tunning, I have had a great time and success tunning my x and even my 6 and the computer operates on the same logic so it goes to s...

Also I will take Carvtech's opinion with a pinch of salt, haven't seen one of his projects which were near impressive, his fabrication work however is fantastic, I'd say he is a fabricator designer, but not a proven tuner.

Re: END OF THE PASSON! Evo on the slippery slope to extincti

Sanctifier, Happy to see you still posting about evos, but you are speaking about a particular evo which you don't have any experience with (evo x). I have had a VI and now have a X, driven both at their limits and have explored their capabilities. First I'd say the VI will always be possibly the be...

In the group 2 class it was honda power all the way .The silver autonation EG8 walked away with on race and had some difficulties that left a red EG8 driven by Mark Viera to battle with a yellow and green EK3. This race was competitive only after the silver civic broke down. . Cornfused, That infor...

Re: WTK The correct gap for spark plugs (turbo application)

Be careful gaping iridium plugs such as the IK, chances are you will do more damage than good.

The iridium tip is delicate, these should come pre-gapped, honestly if the plugs have some age I'd probably invest a good quality set of NGK plugs in the 6-7 heat range.

1. Seller (Company) has to produce a TAX invoice for the Sale Amount including VAT (Price you are paying for the car) 2. They need a recent valuation to confirm the current market value (VAT will be based on the current Market value) 3. Invoice will have to go to VAT office along with supporting doc...

Re: how to transfer a company owned vehicle

The VAT office needs to approve the VAT Invoice before you can be exempt from the transfer fee(you will still pay $10 at licensing office though). You will need to carry the tax invoice with a recent valuation, certified copy and proof of insurance( if the certified copy is not recent) to the VAT of...

The Renault was driven all day by a European (Either French or Dutch) driver and not Franklyn Boodram, the French driver is also the person who set the fast times in the Renault. TTASA also showed how poor their organization skills are by: Not Disqualifying the Renault & French Driver when the c...
