Re: Anyone ordered from amayama.com?

Amayama looks good to me, can get some parts for my honda there - cheaper than lingshondaparts.com . But anyone knows anywhere that does Mazda parts? Well if anyone needs it, I found their russian counterpart does mazda... Don't know how the logistics of that might be, or where the parts would come...

Re: The official WAZE GPS navigation thread

I realise that you can't type in vauge terms, like "San Fernando" etc. I type in "La Brea" the other day and it was sending me Fyzabad! Yeah, it generally works better with street names and place names, like "Park St" or "Movie Towne" - just make sure you pic...

Re: The official WAZE GPS navigation thread

^yup. Even try quoting the "speed" which is generally inaccurate. I wished they'd at least give credit though. Not defending them, and they should definitely give credit every time, but I'm sure I heard them (not sure which station) say that they were using Waze on their tablet, lol. Just...

Re: AC Compressor clutch knock/rattle

Too late... Ended up buying the compressor, clutch and coil from the firm that same day. (Had two independent sources check it out). Consensus was that it looked like damage to the internal bearing on the compressor, and heat damage to the clutch assembly. I feel like I gave blood, lol.

Re: AC Compressor clutch knock/rattle

The warranty was mentioned because the US and UK models get an extended warranty on their air condition systems because of a manufacturing fault. (6-7 years!)

Re: AC Compressor clutch knock/rattle

Spoke to the Parts and Service Departments at the dealership. No warranty - we get the Japanese model here apparently and the compressor is manufactured by a different company (no name given). They told me they'd be able to remove the compressor and see if it's possible to replace the clutch and bea...

AC Compressor clutch knock/rattle

Hey guys, the air condition compressor in my 2007 Honda CR-V is knocking/rattling. It looks to me that the pulley behind what I think is part of the clutch mechanism is wobbling and causing this. Observed it for a while, wobbling is intermittent, not consistent as though the shaft is bent - makes me...

Yeah, empty the tank and put 20 super this morning, ran it out and put 20 again this evening. Figure I could always drown it in premium if anything... Seems to be working fine.

Re: Power window issues

Didn't test the motor or for continuity just yet, but I think I may have found the problem. Taking apart the driver's side switch, I found that under the guts of the rocker switch for the passenger's side (on the driver's side panel) there are two (what seem like spring loaded) switches (looks like ...

Power window issues

Hey guys, some power window issues. I'll get straight to it. Problem: Mazda Familia wagon - passenger side stopped working a while ago. Replaced the regulator (not switch), worked for a while then stopped again. Got a new regulator and switch for the passenger's side this time, should I replace the ...
