Well actually my own is transmission and is doing exactly that......topping out at third on kick down and dying out.....but if i mash gradually it going into 4th......it suppose to be just one wire to switch or so the electrician say....will find out today

The standard fuel psi for sr20 de is 39-45psi....i think DET is just a bit more...50-60 or around there.........but I have a 95psi internal in my SR

U can get some weber sidedrafts from sheriffs on cipero street brand new for about $3600 i think....giv dem a call 6571687.....d cams mite be kinda hard to get.....u could get the original ones cut by Zig's though...he does a decent job ....6382094.....good luck with it!! Buy my original bluebird engine and tranny with weber 32/36 and manifold....it ready to drop in.....$2000 for evryting.....u could even see it by the mechanic now

That sounds like a carb prob.....ur idle jets must be clogged or too small.. get a kit and can of BARS spray.. or get a weber and solve the problem.
