hmmm ... so there are disadvantages then ?

-more fuel burnt (if i drive hard)
-more engine wear

i not clear on one ting : if you turbocharge and drive normal, will you burn less, more or the same fuel? if it's less or more... how much yuh saving/wasting?

who's turbo here??? gas mileage

get a test cd ... with tones... play em... soft at first, cranking up volume... clipping with one freq is easy to hear. with music> not easy at all.

an enclosure would make them sound better and protect them from damagae as nigel rightly said.... however: it's a real task to actually build an enclosure below the rear deck. trunk rods and other items mounted on the underside of the rear deck.

cracking your windscreen is not good. proper bracing for high spl vehicles is essential. a windscreen that flexes causes you to lose SPL!

Nah man, i *know* i drive and brake too hard. But the light stays on long after i brake ... sometimes for hours. Switching off might or might not help.

(btw, i new here.. how do i get rid of the "riding on 13's" thing under my name?)

Hi, Got a 99 Accord (CF3 with a F18B 1.8 VTEC SOHC Engine). The ABS warning light comes on periodically. The harder i drive and brake, the easier it is to 'trip' the light on. The car is a RORO and has original accord brakes. Stock rims upgraded to 8-spoke 17's. Tires upgraded to 225/17/50. I think ...
