Hmmnn, ok well I remember having a conversation with a local evo owner who said he boosted to 25lbs and managed to bend his crank ... How did he manage to do this? Just curious for my own info ... he probably bent a rod.. and scored the crank journals.. and thought the crank bent, but thats a forge...

Will the crank take that kind of boost long term without ill effects?? boost has no effect on the crank. I will agree with TeamH2o ... Most people in this country into driving pantymatics so while it'll make the car more desirable to an enthusiast, it'll be harder to sell to your average rice boy.

Can Toyota's map sensors be interchanged?

Like the subject sez, are the map sensors engine specific or will the 4age / 4efe map sensors be the same?

A friend is looking for one for his blacktop 4age and we need to know if another will be just as good ...

Thanks

Dis is your lucky day ... My boy Larry is at the back of Champs Fleur just behind Legal Imports (Yancy's store) ... They do excellent accident recovery and body work, but they are most importantly, honest people to deal with.

Ok for mid 14's on the blacktop 4age your best bet would be to get an LSD (if you don't have one), there's an 1800cc conversion kit that consists of forged pistons and a stroker crank and race fuel. That should get you to mid 14s along with a decent suspension upgrade. A metal head gasket and a dece...

Not to mention saving yourself the headache of a 100,000 loan ?

I dont think it's wise to limit yourself to mazda engines seeing that they dont have much of a easily available perfomance engine the B6T & B8T are almost impossible to get & parts are even worse. Go SR20 , parts easier to get , much more power, and lots of upgrades available. recently i had to cha...
