u gonna run the b20 auto or manual ?

if manual shift 6500

watch a CRV cluster

the b16a ecu is not gonna supply enough fuel and timing gonna be wrong. You can do more harm than good

The complete b20 engine no gonna survive a rev limit over 6500. You will float a valve and kill the engine

Yes there are some concerns
1. Engine running lean with the stock ECU and injectors.
2. Detonation/Knock will kill engine very fast.
3. Rod bolts are the weak spot failure after 7800.
4. Did they shave head to raise compression ?

Do not rush and buy anything. The US model car have more emission devices that the JDM car might not have.

Get an ecu from a similar JDM car not US . The 2.4 ecu would dump more gas , then you in more mess

or can come from the oil filter and leak , oil pressure sensor or the breather chamber/black box under the alternator

If it is not engine oil, there are some Power steering hoses in that area.

I had a 2001 stream with the 1.7 sold last year easy for engine parts but body was a stress

If you do not require the space in the stream look at a CRV easier for parts
