Re: What people mean by "tune a box" or what freq the box "t

Ok so after much reading and searching, tuning a box has more to do with porting. That is the length of the port and cross sectional size. in relation to a specific net volume. Vb http://mediacdn.shopatron.com/media/mfg/9013/media_image/dev_1/Port_Calc.png?1314153234 Fb = tunign freq in hz Vb = net...

Re: looking for raw components

If you`re crossing a mid over 250hz up, airspace is not really an issue. Also, and it can do 102db with 32 watts. Mounting it in a pillar maybe tough. Most mids I`ve seen, if they handle more power aren`t as sensitive because the coil is now heavier. Thats the trade off. Really tough to get a matchi...

what exactly is "Budget" for you? I agree with those guys who tell u go active with raw drivers. SB Acoustics and Fountek have some amazing drivers for the price.

Re: Enclosure Design Needed.

The REx 8`s I think are only cosmetically different. I actually had 3 of the older models in 2 cuft tuned to 35 with 28sq inches of port I believe. They can get pretty loud.

I think if you drop down to 32hz tuning youre golden. You have enough room for something similarly sized.

downstream oxygen sensor replacement

guys I need to replace my downstream o2 sensor. The one on the car now is a bosch. I searched the number embossed on it but no luck. The connector looks like this, it`s a 4 wire unit. http://s29.postimg.org/tzmksync7/IMG_20160217_192831.jpg I found one place so far with the replacement but its $1200...

Re: Flow Internet Thread

It looks like you are a FLOW customer, but you are testing to a DIGICEL speedtest server in Chaguanas. Are you deliberately choosing that server? Why don't you test to the FLOW server in Port of Spain? (What are the results?) Having said that,... I am on Digicel, and just tested to the FLOW server ...

Re: Android TV Box Thread

Installed two apps on my m8s over the weekend. These are stand alone apps like mobdro so no Kodi required. They are Movie HD and Cartoon HD. Both work great so far, Movie hd has nice descriptions of the movies and tv series available. Both of them have functionality similar to Netflix. I watched Rid...

I myself am looking into these. On tein`s website I`ve come across 2 for the GH chassis one for 2008 specifically and one for 2009+ both for GH chassis. Im not sure which one would be better for our application because they both have different free lengths. Tanabe also has a set but options are limi...

Re: Question for box builders

It all depends on what response you want. every manufacturer`s optimal tuning is different. some companies like DD and Pioneer recommended enclosure is tuned to 40hz others like RE recommend 34hz. Sometimes they dont tell you the tuning, just build a box x cuft with x port. The vas qts and fs of the...

Theoretically it should work on any car with an OBD II port. Works on my impreza and my cousin`s almera. Try different apps tho. Lotsa free ones in the playstore.

Bluetooth OBD Adapter DIY project.

Just thought id share a lil project I did recently. my car is an 08 impreza hatch. I have had it for about two years and have done a few diy mods to it. Nothing too technical. This is the car: http://s14.postimg.org/rxbzeisu9/10986919_10153108053990286_3785108776175891651_o.jpg Recently my lambda ox...

Boy I get away. They classed it as a calculator so I paid no vat and duty. Just 38 dollars shipping from websource. so about 120 all in all.

Got that wireless keyboard over the weekend. Paid 12 bux on ebay. It works pretty good so far. The touchpad is pretty sensitive and the keyboard itself has a nice feel in the hand.

As for the box, I installed mobdro as a stand alone app and not a kodi extension and its working awesome.

Re: What people mean by "tune a box" or what freq the box "t

This term "built to spec" is an abused term. Most mean factory specs but sometimes you can get a result more tailored to your taste by adjusting the spec of the enclosure, but you would have to sacrifice a bit in one or more aspects. This can be power handling, frequency bandwidth etc. So,...

After vinyl wrapping that last box, I think thats the easiest option. High build automotive primer is your friend for either piano or matte . As for piano, lotsa clear coat, cutting compound and elbowgrease. If you are painting, use an old credit card or similar card and paste in some wood filler on...
