Some time aback while I was pondering on the meaning of life, the thoughts came to my mind - why does Proton, a Malaysian company so closely copy the designs of Mitsubishi and use their engines, chasis and other technology? the answer never came - too lazy to do a web search at the time then I did t...
you could also use a head-pin and clean the tip/nozzle of the sprayer on the wagon door above the glass.Sometimes this clogs with dust in the water, etc. If it is clogged remove it and use an aerosol spray with its straw to blow out the clogged particles. just be careful that you do not increase the...

on the topic of air filters, how well do cone air filters handle dusty air coming into the engine? by the nature of free flow air filters, they allow more air to enter the engine, wouldn't the free flow nature of the filters compromise their ability to filter small dust particles? aren't their pores...
but im sure u can agree that sometimes they may not pick up changes to the fluid/air flows and keep runnin at pre-set levels. the most i can see an ECU doing is detecting adjustments to air or fuel and compensating accordingly...but its not going to be adjustable per se over particular rpms etc... ...
Actually, Coming from a Computer Engineering background and having an understanding if how microprocessors work: resetting of the ECU, which is a processor, should ideally not be necessary for a simple "change of environmental variables" like the addition of a new intake. if the O2 sensor & the ECU ...
Wideband O2 sensor measures A/F ratios over a wide band  sorry but thats what they do.They give you info on weather ur engine is running lean or rich.Very useful when tuning. Basically that's the idea. O2 sensors measure oxygen content in the exhaust gas. More oxygen detected = lean Air\Fu...
U might want to put in some extractors and re-do the exhaust piping. this might gain you more high end power, at the expense of losing some low end power. you might lose acceleration but, gain higher speed. consult a good tuner bout this. cuz I am not sure whether your lancer came with extractors
Jus4Sho give some good points there I changes my cradle bushings on my CK2A Lancer bout a year and a half ago. I was getting a knocking on the steering, I changed the big Cradle bushings and the rack ends cost me bout $350 each for the bushings, if I remember correctly. also changed the engine mount...
