They are in it to help themselves and those who are aligned with their and the interests of their financers. What you end up votin...

If item was sold "as is" as stated above, there is no warranty and you only have to fulfill your end of the agreement. But that should be on the receipt because then it comes down to he say-she say nonsense.

Re: 2ZR-FE manual conversion or Engine & Transmission Swap

Yeah it should be. It isn't CVT and doesn't seem to be haunted by the same issues, but isn't as fun to drive. The repair is about $9K, primarily because of the cost of the replacement.

I just find it hard to spend that money to have to spend it agai...

I was wary of the manual with our traffic situation, but I reasoned that a lot of pickups and heavy vehicles are manual as well as maxi taxis. If they can manage it I should be able to as well.

2ZR-FE manual conversion or Engine & Transmission Swap

I have a ZRE142 Toyota Fielder, with the 2ZR-FE (1.8) engine. The CVT transmission broke and at the cost of the replacement and considering the durability issues I'm considering a replacement. Options I'm currently considering is keeping the engine and adding a 6fwd gearbox like the C64, C65 or the ...
