Re: EVO X - PCJ 110 build - August 13 2010 PHOTOS!!

So I have been helping the owner with this project for a little while now. I have driven this car on quite a few occasions. My complements to the owner for taking things in stride and remaining systematic in developing the idea of what he wants. Looking at pictures is nice, seeing it in real if also...

Re: Introducing Trinidads first SR20VET Pulsar GTIR (milk bo

If you want low down torque and quick spool without having a fancy ECU or nitrous then the 2.0 VE cams are the better set. Becasue the low lobes are quite low duration. However, with the 2.0 VE cam you will be giving up some top end toruqe/power. With the 1.6 VE cams the bottom end will drop off a v...

Re: Introducing Trinidads first SR20VET Pulsar GTIR (milk bo

No it doesnt , The VE head is the highest flowing SR head made , much large ports than the DE family , a stock VE Head will outflow a worked DE head anytime anyday. THE_FUGITIVES that is not 100% true. The VE Head (low port) does flow more than the DE/T (high port) as a bone stock casting. To say t...

Re: 24hr of Le Mans this weekend.....anybody watchin...?

Weren't rotaries banned from Le Mans due to an "unfair weight advantage" (following Mazda's sole win back in the day)? Or was it just for the 787? That was a great win for Mazda and the Rotary Engine, but they exploited a loop hole in the rules which was closed up after the win. Mazda app...

Re: BP getting lash every which way till Sunday!

Step aside from the DWH incident and the ongoing spill for a minute. Ask yourself this question? How come BP America is having so many problems in the United States, oil leaks in Alaska, exploding gas lines and deaths in Alaska, exploding refineries in Texas, blow out in the GoM and a massive ongoin...

Re: BP getting lash every which way till Sunday!

i aint getting into who knows more about what, cause i dont claim to know a whole lot, but AFAIK the oil spill in trinidad was caused by two vessels colliding in a tropical storm off the coast of trinidad, not by BOP failure, so it was a controlled amount of oil that spilled) and the majority of th...

Re: BP getting lash every which way till Sunday!

the safety and preventative measures associated with deep water drilling are the same for shallow water driller more or less cause the legislation has not been reviewed in decades, because big companies like BP have control over these boards and comities that run the safety etc.. to put into perspe...

Hmmm, in my 21 years in the game I cannot recall hearing that one. During a blow out I guess it is probable that if the harder formation fragments like sands, and I have seen pebbles, impact steel work it could cause a spark. In the right conditions that spark could ignite a gas cloud that is within...

Reports are now stating that they were just finsihed with a cement job. They were at 18,000ft and they were drilling for Oil (kinda obvious from the black smoke in the fire).
