Re: THE V8 BOYS present: T&T's 1st V8 Drift Car.

I've never bought a crate engine and tran/box before, but Summit Racing has 5.7 sbc starting from $3500us and a little more for a sbf same 5.7. I used to go up St Maarten every 6mths and buy entire Mustangs, Thunderbirds, Camaros, Malibus etc scrap them down and bring the motors, trannies, boxes and...

Re: Living with Cancer... my pain, trials, and learning to c

extremely good advice 88sins and bluefete! I will take it to heart. A good friend of mine who is also a survivor told me this: Pain lets you know that you are ALIVE! And that all this time I've been fighting and having a hard time...that I am STILL alive and must recognize that...do stuff she said, ...

Re: Living with Cancer... my pain, trials, and learning to c

Hello my friends, it's been awhile. So much has happened in the last year or so...maybe I could talk a little about it, but allow me to thank those of you have continued to show interest in this thread, in me and my story. It is very humbling to read such kind comments from people I have never met. ...

My Battle with Cancer....The final chapter.

I had made a decision to avoid answering or commenting on posts or threads where Mg Man makes his derisive and acidic comments....especially towards me. But this one cuts deep: MG Man Post subject: Re: The *Official* Old School Spotters ThreadPostPosted: Wed Jul 08, 2015 4:52 pm ay ketch yuhself eh ...

Re: FugiTECH Junior Datsun and the Team FugiTECH story.

BEST thread on Tuner right about now!!!

Like the development and now the test and tune trials. Clutch sorta sounded like it was slippin...and I kinda distrust tall slicks on a swb car. But this is the fun part. Hope to see you and your ride atop its NEW trailer at Wallers SOON! Its so smmmamamoood!

Re: Seaboard Marine CMRC Wallerfield Trinidad 2015

so true about the tire wear...the surface is soooo smmamamood! The Old School guys got a few laps in around the circuit the thur before the event and we could feel it for ourselves. Hence the reason most of the drift cars left on the same set of tires they came in on. The surface at ARC is very worn...

Re: Seaboard Marine CMRC Wallerfield Trinidad 2015

Forgot to mention that one in the list above, but Autosport had a representative there that asked some good questions and most definitely if an agreement is worked out between ALL the participating affiliates then I'm sure that that discipline will be held there too.

Re: Seaboard Marine CMRC Wallerfield Trinidad 2015

The meeting went exceptionally well... TTASA, TTUNDRA, AUTOSPORT, FORD CLUB, V8 CLUB, SOLODEX, RALLY ASSOC, DRIFT ASSOC, SPEED PROMOTIONS, TTRC, TRINITUNER AND ZORCE We all sat and discussed freely and without argument the way forward for Motorsport. Re: THE V8 BOYS present: T&T's 1st V8 Drift Car.

I'm aiming for a mirror finish! One more pass with the 2k black, then it's cut with 800wet and then base coat black and double clear.

Tranny came out today...gearbox should be in by next weekend.

Engine mods start soon.

Re: Seaboard Marine CMRC Wallerfield Trinidad 2015

All the major Motorsport club-Presidents and their management teams have a meeting with TTASA tmrw to discuss the usage of the track by them. Positive step by TTASA. I hope we come to a good amicable agreement. The momentum gained from last weekend's event needs to be continued for the benefit of AL...

Re: Seaboard Marine CMRC Wallerfield Trinidad 2015

well I should have put "my estimate".... was more leaning towards 3000 initially, for the stands in gen admin...my figure of the 5000plus is a likkle high... I figured in the vip section had a few hundred...and outside the pit area where we were and on the perimeter maybe 1500 or so. The f...

Re: Seaboard Marine CMRC Wallerfield Trinidad 2015

Wallerfield really has a magical pull to it...imagine that, no other racing discipline would have been able to draw spectators out on such a dark, gloomy rain soaked day to witness circuit racing...braving mud and little shelter...the 5000-7000 (est) that were in the general admission areas is somet...

acquiring, buying, getting anyone to sell you a classic or antique car or van is not what it used to be. They have gone up in value exponentially and those with them are holding onto them...and the upturn in demand and pricing for them has only now begun. Hence the reluctance of many to offer info. ...

So true vex dog, I made that cowl induction scoop from a genuine harwood, but as the mustang bonnet is so long, it sorta doesn't fit right. I feel I goin with the hollers sticking out of the bonnet with some sweet polished velocity stacks....old school styling,
