IMO, jl w3v2's are louder ....in a car show in mannie ramjohn a while back, acoustic eng's b14 hit either 147.something or 149.something (on the same meter the green civic did 154.5).....the b14 had 2 15" w3v2's in the stock cargo location. Although the Orion p series did bang, i doubt they were lou...

I agree wit image91..... green civic have some bad-ass equipmnt but he concentrates on sounding loud more than soundin good across the entire freq. range....lows were there but hardly there.....6 juggs could sound better...i preferred to listen to those guys with 2 juggs and playing clean and hittin...

D green civic sound like total SHEIT! doh get meh wrong, he was extremely loud, but the bass was all midbass and upper bass.....i never heard so much upper bass in "rise to the occasion" as in the green civic....he have absolutely no low bass....dat surf sounds better hands down!! NICE!!! I had my head in there for a half a minute!! total ecstasy!! it was the loudest system there....scored 154.5db...even the tent tarpulin was moving....

Yeah, dat crv was peltin clean bass, real low, nice headunit too ....i listen to it for a good while...his mids was not matching the bass tho..... the only thing was that some damn blue hatchback was facing his mids to the crv and interrupting him....boy, if i had a glass bottle in meh hand!!....

most of JL's demo cars use Alpine head units...but this one i don't think so...iz some kinda shiny deck (see 1st picture)...looking like a sony or sometin....no additional dsp....so i guess no time correction..but this car was reviewed as one of the best sounding sq cars in its show (the CES 2003).....

door tweeters are mounted about ~4" from the woofer in the door panels....so then, PROPER imaging, esp centre, can be achieved this way??
JL did about 2 or 3 demo cars like this....so does anyone, besides roger, use this type of install for sq competitions down here, esp with tweets so close???

the given system diagram shows the setup :arrow: http://trinitun.webberz.com/upload/09_VIBE_SYSDIA.jpg i.e. L tweeter- left signal; R tweeter - right signal. :? the tweeters used are the JL Audio TR050-CT. the diag does not show any additional crossovers..they just used the in-line 1st order highpas...
