Neat Zori is made using EVA rubber, a durable stress resistant, highly shock absorbent, non-slip material. Every Neat ZORI features an 18mm (20 degree) raised arch support. This raised orthotic structure not only provides support to the arch but also provides longitudinal support through the middle of the feet.
What consumers are increasingly being made aware of is that a flip flop should have firm structure; you should not be able to twist or turn the sandal as the rigidity helps maintain foot structure.
By making the product out of EVA rubber it provides this core strength to the sandal.
The final orthotic benefit incorporated in a Neat ZORI is metatarsal support.
Pain in the area behind the toes called the metatarsal region is caused by inflammation of the joints and ligaments. ZORI counters this area by providing cushioning in the metatarsal area. Neat Zori is designed to mould to the foot, avoiding the flip flop motion that health specialists argue is so bad for foot structure. The raised tip on the ZORI also
avoids toe stubbing.
