What is the correct ways to install ah TPS, cause i hearing mixed views?
persons say jus use ah volt meter and others say u hav to use ah scan tool...
and would jus installin it jus so, give u ah check engine light?

look the real tps man here ^

just use a volt meter..and putting it 'anyhow' shouldn't give you a checklight..but you might have some other issues

Get a volt meter, install the new tps sensor, then check the vlots with the the ignition on but the motor must not be running. When checking the volts make sure sure to check with the throttle closed first then check with throttle wide open. it should be 0.45 volts to 0.50 volts with throttle closed and 4.45 or higher with throttle wideopen.

To use the volt meter to check the voltage use the red wire on the volt meter to the middle wire on the tps harness and the black wire on the volt meter to ground on the motor.
