I am getting a bess price on an original 2004 Local ES8 Civic Exi (with circle brake lights , light up tach). It will be my 1st Honda owned. However everyone i talk to are quick to jump up and say that Honda parts are too expensive, bear in mind those people never owned a honda. LOL I know it might be more than say an almera but i mean how high can it be?

Also compared to corolla NZE parts (body and mechanical) which i am told are really expensive, which is cheaper, civic parts or corolla parts?

Where can i get good prices for ES8 civic parts in south?

(Upgrading from a B13) :D

Sheriff's...

I had one of these a couple years ago...really good car..great on gas..

I had a roro 2004....this was in 2007-2008.

Changed:
Cradle arm bushings to Energy Suspension Poly.
Shocks
Adjusted Steering Rack (design flaw)

Note there are two diff models, one with an electric steering rack and cvt trans. and one with hydraulic rack and normal auto trans.

Never had any other issue with mine....At the end of the day you get what you pay for. Honda parts are more than an almera but they last long.

You can get some parts at Sheriff's and others at autonation in el socorro

^^ Thanks man. The guy who i'm buying the car from says its not a cvt transmission but has electronic power steering (if that's what you're referring to). So i'm guessing no problems there. A friend told me he didn't change his shocks in 6 yrs in his roro ek3 (2000). So i know they last a good while. The car itself is in really good condition and no problems..Like they say, Just buy and drive.

i had a es5 for three years and it did 150,000 kms and you know they probaly rewind the mileage before i get it anyway the car worked really well and all i changed was the shocks, front cradle bushings, however i serviced frequently using geniune parts! the engine didnt even have and oil leak for that amount of mileage
