WTK: Replacement Transmission for 98 Accord CF3

I need to replace the transmission in a 1998 accord, CF3. The engine is a F22B and the code on the trans is MCJA. Do i need to get that same one or can another work?? Also any recommendations on where i can find it or what is the cost attached.. Thanks for your help in advance

The key to these transmissions are the number of solenoids..
Make sure it matches what you have.. 2 or 3 or 4 or even 5 solenoids.. All different

Cost.. about $3000-$3500.. Don't pay a cent more

it going in 1year my car down i looking for a trans i looking to change engine and do full conversion but that seems to be ah problem too

Allan, what car you have? Honda transmissions and engines are fairly easy to find and are not TOO expensive

The transmissions we gettin are all electronic... the transmission in the car is cable type... we have decided to go the route of a complete change out and replace with a h22 engine and transmission.

I know you can find cable type... I just bought one the other day.......

That said, you will have far more fun with a h22, but what price did you pay for the complete swap?
