WTK: ek3 engine identification

today i had my first problem, starter needed servicing


however it was pointed out to me that the engine had a change over

can you all identify which of the ek3 civic engine is this

it is sitting in a 1999 local ek3

i need to wash it yes, forgive me

that looks like either a d13b / d15b non vetc , looks like a local also , no sensors on Exhaust or Catalyst‎

This is a good thing from the point of view of affordability for maintenance right?

Thing burns way too gas to be a 1.3litre.

Jus check the engine # or take a pic , if its burning to muc gas do a overall service that mire help

My guess is its the d15b non vtec.Looks identical to my engine bay.

Look at where the radiator hose is connected to the engine in the 2nd pic. Look under where the clip is kinda pointing it is written there. In yours it is looking kinda green nex to the manifold, u can read it there.
